De koffers van Salsa blijven altijd in vorm. De nagenoeg onverwoestbare polycarbonaat koffers krijgen weer hun oorspronkelijke vorm zodra de druk vermindert. Dit is een van de eigenschappen die indruk maakte op de testorganisatie TÜV Rhineland. In grootschalige tests, gehouden in 2004 en 2005, werd Salsa beoordeeld als “de lichtste en de beste” en tot winnaar gekroond.
